Project Loon: A Technology to provide the whole world Internet

Loon is the project launched by Google which would provide internet access to the whole world especially in rural and remote areas with a ring of balloons that fly around the globe on the stratospheric winds twice as high as airplanes and the weather, providing internet access to the earth below. Loon would become an internet service provider above the clouds. At the altitude of abut 20 km, high altitude balloons is placed for aerial wireless network connections. The users of this service would connect to the balloon to balloon and balloon to the ground communications using a special type of internet antenna provided by Loon project, attached to their building for accessing internet service.

I think this will be a WIFI network blasting down at high-power from the heavens. Thanks to Google for connecting the world and providing internet access to two-third of the world’s population who doesn’t yet have access to the internet. Here, i am going to share the YouTube video which describes detail information about the project.
